NJ - Four NJ residents (non-citizens) charged under the Election Integrity Task Force for illegally registering and voting in federal elections (including 2020/2024 presidential); false statements on citizenship apps (link)
Official announcement that the DOJ filed a federal lawsuit against New Jersey (along with Utah, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and West Virginia) for refusing to provide complete, unredacted statewide voter registration lists upon request. The suit seeks full voter data-including names, addresses, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and partial Social Security numbers-to enforce list maintenance under the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), Help America Vote Act (HAVA), and Civil Rights Act of 1960. Atlantic City - Craig Callaway (former council president and political operative) pleaded guilty to voter fraud in a scheme paying people to harvest and cast mail ballots without voter knowledge/consent in the 2022 general election. (link)
Paterson, NJ - Major local scandal leading to election being overturned. Official announcement of charges against council members and others for fraud in casting mail-in votes, unauthorized possession of ballots, tampering with records, etc., after hundreds of bundled mail-in ballots were found in mailboxes during the all-mail Paterson election.
