Non-citizens Have Been Found to Vote in New Jersey Before

In response to the proposal of the bill in Congress to mandate verification of US citizenship in order to vote, the statement "no significant evidence has been found of non-citizens registering to vote" has repeated in synchrony in traditional media. The Public Interest Legal Foundation conducted a limited sample size, physical survey in NJ in 2017 and found hundreds of resident non-citizens admitting they registered and/or voted.
